My Beautiful Baby Boy

My beautiful baby boy. I lost him two weeks ago. He was born full term via emergency C Section and was having trouble breathing so they whisked him off to NICU before I could hold him. The doctors were confident. For three days they thought he was healing. I went to the NICU every few hours and help his hand, all the while preparing to bring him home. He was so perfect, so beautiful. I still couldn't hold him. Then, on the third day my husband and I went to the NICU and were told he was dying. His blood pressure dropped and they couldn't get it up. We ran to his side as the doctors did CPR, then stopped and wrapped him gently in a blanket. I finally got to hold him, already gone. My heart is broken.
