To the parents from Newtown Conn that will find this site: My son Billy's 7th anniversary was Dec 15th. Each year I brace myself for that date. When I heard what happened to those 20 children the day before, it seemed as if my world was ripped apart again. I have family and friends that share the pain of Billy's passing. But I know I can go into this web site knowing that each person that writes their story understands how I feel. Now there are 20 more children that parents will find there way to The Compassionate Friends site. Billy didn't have any children of his own, but he loved them. I hope Billy, with this big beautiful smile was reaching for the hands of these little children as they arrived in heaven. I miss my Billy every day and I hurt today as much as the day he passed. I love you Billy. Mom
