Stories of Lost Children

My Rah-Rah
by LaMea, Spotsylvania, VA, U.S.A.

My Rah-Rah:

My special child, my middle child. Only 3yrs old. He was not sick. But a tragic accident took my baby home. He was playful all the time had a lot of energy. He loved to watch "Disney Channel". On Friday October 7, 2005 he was a perfect little boy. Until bout 10:45 p.m. he just starting shaking the dresser which held out 32inch T.V. the next thing I hear a big "boom". I run in the room and my baby is under the t.v. and dresser, I pull his lifeless body out and take him to the top of the stairs where I start CPR and someone calls 911. I do it for 25 mins until the ambulance gets there. But he only took two breaths and opened one eye for me. I was covered in my babies blood and did all I could do to save him but it did not help. I was so nerves and scared. I wanted to ride int he ambulance with them but they told me it was not enough room for me. So I waited at the house they would not tell me anything. I could not leave until a detective came, I could not understand why.

Later on it was because they new my baby was gone but did not want to tell me. Also they had to make sure that I did not throw the t.v on my baby. His head injury was real bad it crushed the back of his head and killed him instantly.

I miss mt baby so much. But I have to be strong for my daughter who is 6 and my other some who is 19 months. This is the hardest thing that I ever had to go thew and I don't know how much longer I can be strong.
