Jim, your story has touched me and I can't let go of it. Not that I am in any position to give advice, I lost my son, Josh in June, and I have pushed everyone out of my life except for my daughter, Amanda. After reading and re-reading your story, what keeps going thru my mind is that song that Garth Brooks sings "The Dance". If you are able to open your heart to others, do it. Love is so precious.
I hope someday I can.
