Stories of Lost Children
My Beautiful Sunshine
by J.B., Wildwood, IL, U.S.A.
On April 20th at 8:19 p.m., I recieved a phone call from my Francesca letting me know that she will be home for dinner. At 10:12 p.m. the door bell rang and my son went to answer the door and told me that the their were 2 officers who wanted to see me. My heart started to pound, I knew something was wrong, I wanted to die. It was aweful, like if it was the worst nightmare when they told me that my daughter was in a tragic car accident and she did not make it. She was only 1/2 mile away from home. As monthts go by I try to understand God and hold on to my faith. I visit her at the cemetary almost everyday on my home from work. It brings me comfort, I can feel her next to me. I believe in my heart that she will always be with me. A part of me will always be missing in flesh. She was my only princess God gave me for 18 years. God has a plan for us all and we need to be ready when the days come. God Bless Everyone one of us.
