Memories of James Patrick McKee

He was my first child born to me and his dad. His birthday was March 17th, 1970. Patrick only weighed 4 lbs when he was born so he wasn't very big. He loved trying to fixer upper on just about anything and we lived in Ft. Smith, Ark. at the time. It was Christmas and he says to me, "Mom, I'm going to go get a Christmas tree". I thought he went to the woods but oh no, not Patrick. He came home with a little limb from a tree. He put it in a vase and I said "Son, where is the tree?" He actually showed me this tree, got out 2 Christmas bulbs and put lights on it. That was his Charlie Brown tree.
