Our #1 "ACE" Gordon

The greatest loss I have ever had was the most amazing person I will ever know. Gordon was a friend, a father, a husband, and the greatest grandfather my daughter will ever know. He had a heart transplant that his body eventually rejected. What I miss most about him was his way to make you always laugh, the neverending stories he told and the neverending way he told them. I now have a new daughter who will soon be 2 who only knew him for a short time. My other daughter is 5 and remembers him and misses with with all her heart. I am thankful that at least she has stories to pass down to her little sister about what an amazing grandfather she had. It really makes me sad everytime I think about what my girls are missing. I can't express enough what a impact he made in ours lives. His wife misses him very much and I never know quite what to say. One thing is for sure is that she had the greatest man anyone could have ever asked for and we are all very lucky to have had him in our lives. We miss you and love you and think about you every day.
