Tragic Death
by Lysa Moyer, Galion, USA It was about 9:30 p.m. when the call came from my exboyfriend that something had happened to my best friend's 1 and a half year old little boy. Immediately I was thrown into shock and began crying. At first, I thought maybe he was just joking around but then I realized that he wouldn't joke about something so horrible. I got off the phone with him and called my mother, who confirmed what I had heard. Again the tears started flowing and this time they didn't want to stop. It was so sudden. He fell down some steps and was taken to the ER. He was life flighted to Cleveland and died on the operating table from brain injuries. It is such a shock. The funeral date has not been determined yet but when it is, I will be there trying to show my support for my friend and her tragic loss of her only son. He would have been 2 on August 8th 2001. He was such a sweet child and so good too! He is now with his Heavenly Father. We miss you Jordan Patrick!
