Stories of Lost Child Siblings

My Older Brother Mark
by Beth Gehrich, Cincinnati, U.S.A.

Mark entered this world on March 30,1972 and departed it 32 years later on June 27, 2004. He was a wonderful big brother who was always lecturing me about one thing or another, and I always got mad at him for interfering in my life. But I know he did it because he loved me. His nickname was "Big Guy" because he was 6'8" and he had a very intimidating look about him if he didn't know him, but in reality he was a very gentle and loving person. He had a lot of friends because of his great personality. He was a big fan of NASCAR, and he was always rooting for #20, Tony Stewart. He was lucky in the fact that he met a wonderful woman 4 years ago,in 2000, online and they met up one day and fell in love and finally married on July 30,2003. They were getting ready to move into their very first house and start a family in the near future when Mark was taken from us on that horrible Sunday morning. They weren't even married a year when his wife found him already gone in their bed, and by then it was too late.

He left behind a family heartbroken with grief. Our lives will never be the same again without Mark.

We love you Mark!

Beth Ann (sister), Gerri (Mom), Dick (Dad), Kelly (wife), and Marney (Aunt)

Gone but not forgotten.
