After you reach the second trimester in a pregnancy, you think everything is okay. Not to mention you never think it could happen to you. But, at 23 weeks gestation my little boy no longer had a heartbeat. I went into the emergency room thinking nothing was wrong, it was just a weird discharge, not blood. But I would soon find out that my body was slowly going into labor. After 13 hours of induced labor, I gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy. We named him Ryan Jordan. He had my face and toes, but his daddies eyes and nose. He was perfect, with ten toes and ten fingers, eyelashes and beautiful blue eyes. That was in Januarary of 01, exactly four months shy of his due date. Now we're expecting again, and praying everyday.
Ryan: we miss you and can't wait to see you again. Watch over us till then.
