Jacob's Story

I found this website last night. Today is the third 'annivesary' of my sweet Jacob's death. So many new anniversaries in JUNE! June 10, 2005-Jacob started wheezing while we watched his older sibling rehearse for their recital. I gave him a couple of puffs on his inhaler and he improved. I thought of taking him straight to the hospital, but we'd been through this many times, so we headed home to drop off the older kids and gather his "stuff" for the hospital. While we were home he had a breathing treatment with his nebulizer. We were ready to go and all of the sudden he collapsed in my arms. My neighbor had come over to help and began CPR while my 14 year old son called 911.
