Stories of Lost Children

It's Been Almost 7 Years Now
by Crystal, Seymour, TN, U.S.A.

I put my story on this website almost 7 years ago. My daughter Hannah passed away June 19, 2001. She was only six weeks old. I still remember the day that she died in my arms at Vanderbilt Hospital. She died from whooping cough. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. I miss her so much. I wished she was here with me and her sisters. She now has 4 sisters. And every one of them know that they have a sister in heaven watching out for them.

My daughter Hailey will be 3 on March 2, when she sees Hannah's picture on the wall she looks at it and says that is my sister who is with Jesus right now. And it just breaks my heart. There are some people who tell me just to get over the fact that she is gone but I cant do that. She is still a very big part of me and she always will be. I know that I will see her again in heaven whenever I get there. She will be waiting on me at the Gates to hold my hand and walk me through.

I just would like to know how other mother's are dealing with their loss after a few years. Do other people tell you to just let it go and go on with your life, like nothing happened??? I don't know what to do??? Please give me some advice....
