Our Little Angel Carter

2 weeks before our scheduled C-Section, I wasn't feeling much movement from the baby, so I decided I should go into the hospital just to be monitored. We have 2 healthy beautiful girls so we didn't have reason to think anything could go wrong with this pregnancy. When we got there they weren't able to find the heartbeat right away. We were in complete shock. Within a couple of hours we had most of our family up there. We went through with a C-Section and planned for his funeral service within the next few days. We have a lot of guilt with the loss of our baby boy; what could we have done differently? How could this happen so close to the end? And our 4 year old daughter is very hurt by this; she misses her baby brother dearly and cries that she wants him to come home. We have told her that he got sick and went to heaven and the angels are taking care of him. We have her tell the angels everynight to tuck baby Carter into bed, just like we would if he were at home. It breaks our heart that she is so affected by this. I hope with time it gets easier for all of us.
