My Baby, Angel Nataniel

On May 25 2006 I headed to my monthly appointment with my GYN. I was going for an ultrasound to find out the sex of my child. We really wanted a boy and the ultrasound showed that we were getting a boy!!! It also showed something else, I was 23wks and 2cm dialated. I was immediatly hospitalized. I used to cry and pray every night for God to save my child. At 25wks my son, Angel Nataniel, was born. He waighed 1lb 9oz. He was born June 6 2006. He was precious. He proved to be a strong baby defeating all odds until he was 5wks old. On July 13 2006, he became very ill with something called Necrotizing Enterocolitis. He went through 2 operations and still he hung on to his life. On July 20 the Doctors told me that there was nothing they could do. There wasnt enough bowel tissue for him to live so he was dying a slow, painful death. That same day, Angel, passed in my arms. It was the hardest thing I've ever dealt with. To this day, almost 1yr later (June 29th) I haven't gotten over it. He will never be forgotten. I love you, baby. I'll see you in heaven!!!
