Beautiful Tre, Tre

My beautiful angel was born on Tuesday April 18, 2006. He was perfect in every way until 15 hours later when the nurse from the nursery informed me and my mother that something wasn't right. His oxygen levels were not normal and his heart was expected to be the problem. We were told that he would need to be transferred to a Children's Hospital about 3 hours away. My family and I followed the helicopter and were delighted when we got to see him again that night. For the next four weeks we remained hopeful that his abnormal condition (congenital heart defects) would eventually be treated and that he could come home. We spent every waking moment that we could with our angel. I talked to him and sang to him, and held him as much as I could. Although he overcame one heart surgery, the decision to implant an artificial heart after 1 week of being on ECMO was too much for his lungs to handle. He died from pulmonary bleeding on the day he would have turned 1 month old. I love my Tre,Tre so much and I know that he is in heaven and that God is holding him until I can see him again. He has completely transformed my life and I will never be the same. I love you so, so much Tre,Tre and I am so, so proud of you. You will never be forgotten by beautiful angel.
