Our Good Nick

Our 17 year old son Nick was killed on Nov. 14, 2003. He was being chased by another boy on his way home, lost control and hit several trees. He was killed instantly, a blessing, I suppose. I thought I was dealing with things now, over 6 months later I have fallen apart. Cannot enter his room yet could not even go out in the backyard, he is everywhere and nowhere. He was a good boy, loved to laugh and make others happy. His death has devastated his whole family. I know he is in the best place of all, with many other family who also passed too early. I am angry that the other boy was not punished and shows little remorse. I pray that someday I can forgive him. I have a husband and daughter who need me to be there for them, therapy is helping. I have a hard time with people being different to me, as I read others have. Just one more thing to deal with. I pray for all who have had to deal with this nightmare. May we all have peace someday.
