My Two Angels

On April 16, 1979, I was blessed with the birth of twin girls, Jennifer and Julie. I was only 6 months pregnant when my water broke. I thought i was only going to have one baby and was very surprised when Jennifer made her appearance. The doctor told me that they were too small to live. I decided with a very heavy heart to let them go out of this world as gently and quietly as they came into it. I rocked them both together wrapped in a small blanket until they stopped breathing and went back to live with God. It is 23 years since my darlings died, the hurt is as bad as if it were yesterday. I know Jennifer and Julie are in heaven looking out after me and their little brother Michael.
