Stories of Lost Children

Response to Sandy's Story
by Christine DeFrance, Belleville, MI, U.S.A.

Dear Sandy:

I lost my son Joshua DeFrance July 3,2002 just after midnight.H e had just got his licence earlier that day. I relive the nightmare over and over in my mind of going to the accident sight while they were trying to pull him out of wreckage. As hard as it is to tell you Sandy, we never get over losing our children. We just learn to live with them in a different way. Their spirit is still with you, and their memory always is with you . I read your story and my heart breaks for you. I wanted to reach out and hug you and assure you life would be ok again. When I say ok, I don't mean that hurt and sadness disapppears. I mean you will be yet another survivor of many mothers who lost their sweet child. We are members to a club that no one ever wants to belong to. It is horrible what you have had to go through in addition to your loss with your other children.

Please Sandy, feel free to email me at IceeBlooz@msn.com or IceeBloozcd@wmconnect.com. I know it helps to talk to others who feel your kind of pain. Take care and God Bless sweetie. You will be in my prayers.

Joshua's mom
