I can't believe it has been 12 years since I have seen Michelle's beautiful face. Oct. 1, 1990 at the age of 20 years, her life was taken after a heroic battle with cancer. She was my hero and my child. Even after all these years, my heart still longs to hold her and feel her next to me. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her and missed her love and friendship. Sometimes the pain still feels almost unbearable. I know YOU. who have felt this loss understands it.
