He Touched So Many

My son was a surprise. He is a twin. But the doctors didn't know I was having twins. He is my only son. H e died this past September from Lou Gehrigh's disease at the age of 28. But during his 28 years he touched everyone he met. We had a fundraiser for him and almost 600 people came. More than the room could hold. People he met once or twice came to see him before he died or donated to his fund. For me he was the most loving child. He would call me at work just to say "hi". When he was little he would come in from playing every 15 minutes or so to check that I was "ok". He was married and had a 10 month old son when he died. It is so sad to me that his son will not know his father the way that I knew him. He would have been an amazing Dad. He was so kind and genuine. His friends told me there will never be anyone again like him. They have been friends with him since pre-school and they say they will miss him forever. I miss him more than I ever imagined. I love him so much and hope to be with him again someday. I will try to tell his son everything I can about his Dad so that he will know him. I will never forget all the wonderful days we shared in his short 28 years. I love you Chad. Mom
