The Day I Lost My Smile

The day I lost my smile, I took my wife into the hospital thinking we would see our boy in the next few hours. The picture that was painted started to transform into tears and a magnitude of pain. I can picture certain moments throughout the day that will always be imprinted in the map of my life stories. Standing there next to my wife I felt like we were in the worse dream imaginable. The doctor talking in circles until we finally got him to tell us that Aidan's little life had pass. The rest of the day was a collage of unimaginable pain. Constant hugging and patting of my back and tears running down my shoulder from many a relative and friend. Aidan was supposed to be born October 19th but our poor little boy passed before he made it to us in this world. Aidan your Mommy and Daddy love you more than anything. Your Daddy's a fairly strong man but your little precious face makes me cry everytime I picture you.
